and insights we are receiving from our students.
I would like to share how people open up with the Compassion Project. I teach the Community Services Work diploma at T.A.F. E., the largest vocational education and training provider in Australia and one of the best in the world. I give out Compassion Cards to all my students in each of my classes. We go through the Compassion Exercise together and discuss using compassion in community work.
I am both amazed and humbled how some of the students connect with the exercise. I have gotten feedback from some who are using it in their everyday lives and have even passed it on to family members who have used it also. The ripple effect has surprised and elated me. I feel honored to be in a position to pass this tool on to people. I am known with my colleagues as the compassion person and they have also connected with the exercise.
Thank you for bringing such clarity into the collective consciousness! Much Love,
Thank you again for the gifts of the Pro Course. I have been integrating these great tools as I Intern at this International Avatar Course. Especially as I go out to connect with people.
Thanks so much for the Compassion Cards also! I feel the connection with so many and varied people by using it. At a restaurant I met a woman dealing with some health issues and was so grateful for the card and exercise. Using the Compassion Card another Master and I recently connected with a woman at a "Halloween dog costume day" contest for the cutest dog. The woman we met was aged 69 and came with her dog she had rescued after someone had just left it behind at her apartment building. After experiencing the Compassion Exercise she shared her story and we both listened with deep appreciation and gratitude. Among many other things her daughter had died three weeks earlier. The bottom line is she is starting ReSurfacing today on the course! Thank you so much for the privelege of sharing these tools with others. Love,

I gave a Compassion Card to a women during the Kempton Energy Fair this weekend. She hugged me (which was very nice) and said you don't know how on time this was. We went through the exercise together. I felt very compelled to give her the card even to the point of hunting her down in the crowd.
I thought of these words just now. Synchronistic events reveal an underlying pattern, a conceptual framework that encompasses, but is larger than, any of the systems that display the synchronicity. The suggestion of a larger framework is essential.

I had a Compassion Project stand at the markets last Sunday and some people came and shared experiences I want to share with you, as the creator of the precious gift of the Compassion exercise and the gorgeous, wonderful, beautiful card it's printed on. I feel joy every time I hand it to someone.
All these people are Indigenous Australians, both from Darwin and from traditional bush communities.
One, a friend, came up and gave me a huge hug, so grateful as he shared that he had been in a depression for 2 weeks recently and then used the Compassion Exercise to shift himself out of it. He had then given the exercise to a friend who was in a conflict with someone. She did the exercise and later told my friend "we spoke normal after that". He was with a friend from Sydney, also Indigenous. I gave her a Compassion Card and she loved it.
Then 2 young women from a bush community (Maningrida) came to the table, and told me someone had already given them this card and the exercise had really helped them. It was a woman who was working in their community who came to the stand a few months ago and took some extra cards to give to people.
So.. here were these 2 young women, who are training to be teachers in their community, out in the bush, hundreds of miles from the nearest town, who have your Compassion exercise and are using it in their lives. They gave me their contact details and want to do an Introduction. And they took 5 cards each to give to others.
Because of your intention Harry, to help the guy next to you wake up, and then tell him to pass it on, and creating a way to do it, so many lives have been touched, rippling out to even the remotest regions of Australia.
Thank you Harry. Love,

I had another chance to use the Compassion Exercise recently. In my garden there are many iguana's. They love papaya leaves. I had two trees close to a concrete wall and the iguana's could easily reach out for the leaves. They continued eating until the last of the leaves were gone. It hadn't rained in a while so I felt compassion for the iguana's.
When it started to rain I planted a new tree. I put a fence around it to keep the iguana's away. I even bought an expensive spray called "Iguana Rid". But probably the young papaya leaves were too good. The iguana's climbed the fence and didn't even notice the expensive spray.
I was very disappointed and found something to cover the top of the tree. The iguana found a way in and again ate all the leaves. I fixed the hole and hoped they would not find another way in. A few days later I saw an iguana going through a hole for the leaves. I felt my belief "Stay out of my territory or I will punish you" as absolutely true. My identity lowered on the scale and as the iguana walked away, I through a big brick at it. It hid under some grass and seemed to look at me begging for its life.
I felt very ashamed and went inside to work on the identity. The iguana walked away very slowly, but what I did to this creature stayed in my mind. I did the Compassion Exercise. I could feel lots of compassion and how this creature was just like me, trying to fulfill his/her needs in life.
